The Chester Road Reapers are a mixed-ability recreational ice hockey team, welcoming everyone from enthusiastic novices to seasoned veterans. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, supportive club where players can develop their skills, enjoy the game, and be part of a great community on and off the ice.

 

To train with us, players should have a basic understanding of ice hockey and be able to skate confidently, including:

 

• Forward and backward skating

• Crossovers on both sides

• The ability to hockey stop

 

All players are required to have a full set of ice hockey equipment for safety (especially a neck guard). That said, in some cases existing players may be able to loan certain items of kit to help new joiners get started—just ask and we’ll do our best to help.

 

As a recreational adult team, all players must be 18 years or older to train with the Reapers.
